In order to organize your workshops, shows and DJ assignments in the best possible way, please read all information carefully.
All important information:
Our team will have your admission band ready for you when you arrive.
If you wish to bring a babysitter to look after your children while you are teaching, this must be discussed with the organizers while you discuss the terms of your contract.
The venue for the "Euro Dance Festival - Freiburg Edition" will be the "Ballhaus Freiburg".

(Please don't be fooled by the very different address. The parking lot is located directly behind the ballroom).
Coffee, soft drinks, fruit and other snacks, as well as our hot lunch and dinner are available in the lounge.
Since the "Ballhaus Freiburg" is located close to the city center, there is unfortunately no hotel directly at the "Ballhaus Freiburg".
To get from the hotels to the "Ballhaus Freiburg" you can...
- walk (10-15 minutes).
- by car (5-8 minutes).
- take the streetcar (the journey takes about 2-6 minutes and the streetcar runs every 7-14 minutes). Please let us know if you would like to take the streetcar so that we can get you a ticket!

If friends/students/family members of yours want to book our festival, you can get tickets for them at the first price level if you send an email with the following information to trainer@linedancefestival.de by July 31st:
- First and last name of the participants
- Full address of the participants
- E-mail address of the participants
- Ticket request
Our participants have the opportunity to send us feedback during and after the event. If you would like to receive feedback about your lessons, your show or your DJing, please contact Julia.
After the event we will need a little time (usually 2-3 months) to read and sort the feedback, as this is not our first priority after the event. So please be patient.
We will make the photos and videos of the event available on this info page and in high quality as soon as our photographers & videographers have processed them (usually 2-4 weeks after the event).
Over the past few years, some trainers have acquired a pet, usually a dog, which they would like to bring to the festival. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to bring pets to the "Line Dance Festival - Freiburg Edition"!
Participants who are allergic to animal hair are not allowed to bring pets AND unfortunately our partner hotel this year does not allow pets either.
There are no rooms available for private lessons during the workshop times.
If you would like to give private lessons before the workshops or during the lunch break, please contact Julia in advance to reserve a room!
We no longer pay out fees in cash. Please send us your invoice by e-mail to trainer@linedancefestival.de. We will transfer your fee after we have received your invoice, but at the earliest one week after the festival.
The following information must not be missing from your invoice:
- Invoice address: Gutmann Events GmbH & Co KG, Leo-Wohleb-Strasse 1, 79098 Freiburg, Germany
- Invoice number
- Invoice date
- Service date
- Your address
- Your tax number
- Please bring your music as an mp3 file (with a quality of at least 192kbit) on a USB stick AND send it in advance (by August 31) by e-mail. Please no other formats than mp3!
- Please have information about yourself, your dancing or other funny skills ready, which our presenters can use to present you and your show. Please also send them by e-mail to trainer@linedancefestival.de by 31.08.
- On the day of your show, the production team will contact you to finalize all the details (music, lighting, dressing, timing, etc.).
- The directing team will then also let you know from when to when exactly you can rehearse in the area. If you do not need a rehearsal, please let us know so that we can distribute the rehearsal times in the best possible way.
It is not permitted to place flyers, brochures, roll-ups or posters anywhere. Unless this has been discussed in advance with the festival management and expressly permitted. You are welcome to distribute flyers and brochures or set up roll-ups during your workshops. But please take this advertising material back with you after your workshops.
Level 1: Absolute Beginner
You have never danced line dance before (or only secretly in your living room). Welcome to our world!
Level 2: Beginner
The first dances work already quite well, but maybe not yet flawless? Here you are right.
Level 3: Improver
You have already attended several line dance classes and can't stop ????
Level 4: Intermediate
You could even be given a step sequence in writing and you would know exactly what to do.
Level 5: Advanced
You've been dancing all the time at festivals and tournaments. This is where the pros dance!
If you have more than one large suitcase with you, please let the organizers know BEFORE you arrive!
